Makeover

It's been almost a year, and the time has come to revamp the blog. This post marks the beginning of a whole new Dan Ran Away.

The most that this post can offer is a glimpse at the future. For the moment, I haven't run away at all--I am actually quite stationary in Newton, Ma. Fortunately, the next few weeks will see a fair bit of running. I will be heading to the West Coast at the end of the month solely for the sake of driving back to the East Coast. There's nothing like transportation for the sake of transportation!

After that it's off to unemploymentsville. I feel like a bit of an explorer: searching the waters of unemployment for an island of a job. I also find that in the absence of proper school work, I have discovered a penchant for flowery writing. I can't wait to regale all four of you readers!

Expect great changes to Dan Ran Away in the near future. The emphasis on China will be gone. The format has changed. I still plan to talk about restaurants, weird issues, and things I see. Also expect more photography (and more links, once I find a new site to host photos at).
